Emilie,
I understand what you mean by seeing the smiles on people’s faces. I went to the rally and was surrounded by people with hope spread on their faces. It was insane, and yet, at the same time it was amazing to see how somebody like Obama can produce such hope for so many people. Obama may lack the experience that Clinton and Edwards has, but his charisma and intelligence through picking Joe Biden as his running mate outdoes anything that John McCain can dish out. I, too, was on the fence for a little bit, but seeing how Barack’s message of hope has put so many smiles on so many faces, I can see why we both want him for president. I only hope that he produces what he promises, and not betray his supporters.
